Why should I derail threads to respond to Kaelik?
Honestly, it does no good to apologize to him, he never accepts it and never apologizes himself. He takes the opposite position on everything I post - from asking where the real-id to assuming I'm taking some random woman's position in the news thread.
Responding to him is a waste of time; he just pulls out the only argument every single time, like a broken record of misunderstanding.
Heck, I've predicted his last three 'misunderstandings' while trying to reply to others that I'm not sure it's worth the time and thread derail to spend a page or two of thread trying to apologize or inform him. And it's rare for me to predict what people will misread into my words - just ask Frank.

I don't take the opposite position, I take the factual position. You called an official Blizzard announcement a rumor, I pointed out it was an official Blizzard announcement.Crissa wrote:He takes the opposite position on everything I post - from asking where the real-id to assuming I'm taking some random woman's position in the news thread.
You called the guy a twit for not apologizing to someone else for that other person's stupidity. That is pretty much the same as taking the side of the person you think he should apologize too.
And you have never apologized for other people misunderstanding you in the first place, because despite the crazy things you claim about how other people should act, you generally at least act semi competently, which means not apologizing when other people misunderstand you, because that's the exact opposite of how the situation should go down.

That's libertarians for you - anarchists who want police protection from their slaves.
Cynic, are you really so incredibly stupid that it has never occurred to you that if that was something either of us wanted to do, we'd have done it?Cynic wrote:both of you stop bitching and put each other on ignore. there matter settled.
I enjoy pointing out where people are wrong, that's the reason 90% of my posts are pointing out people are wrong (as to what part of that is me correctly pointing out who was wrong vs incorrectly, that depends on who you ask).
So obviously any "solution" that involves me doing less of what I enjoy doing is going to be one I sure as hell don't start.
I assume Crissa also has a reason that she keeps posting in response to me, whatever it is, I'm going to bet it's not "She never thought of the idea of stopping."
I mean, not playing D&D is a solution to the problem of rolling bad, but it's a terrible solution because it doesn't get you what you want.

Don't. I might not like you and you don't like me, but I do think we have a lot of common ground and similar political/social opinions and we can usually hammer out an accord if neither of us loses our tempers (another similarity).Crissa wrote:Why should I derail threads to respond to Kaelik?
Kaelik is human garbage. End of discussion.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.
